A focused small business

Clear thinking, appropriate design and a person you can talk to

RockyChimp is a Wales-based website and digital presence business for established small businesses across the UK. We keep the work personal, practical and properly scoped.

The person behind the business

RockyChimp is run by Stephen Kinsey

RockyChimp is a sole-trader business, not a large agency presented through borrowed scale. The aim is to offer the care and accountability of a direct working relationship, supported by a clear process and honest boundaries.

We start with what the business and its customers need, then shape the website, visual presentation and supporting work around that outcome. When a specialist or partner route is involved, we describe it clearly rather than passing it off as an in-house department.

How we approach the work

Useful principles, not agency theatre

Quality should come from clear judgement and sound delivery, not vague claims, unnecessary complexity or an inflated service list.

01

Start with the problem

We look at what customers need to understand, trust or do before deciding what the website needs.

02

Keep the scope honest

We agree what belongs in the project and separate useful extras from work that does not support the outcome.

03

Design for the business

The structure and visual direction should fit the organisation and its audience, not repeat one house template.

04

Stay useful after launch

Where ongoing support is agreed, it has clear responsibilities and boundaries rather than an open-ended promise.

What RockyChimp is

A website-led partner for clearer digital presentation

Websites sit at the centre. Brand consistency, content shaping and other practical work belong when they help the agreed website or customer outcome.

Why Rocky is here

A guide through the choices, not a replacement for the work

Rocky gives the brand a recognisable, approachable character. Across the site he helps orient visitors, draw attention to useful decisions and make unfamiliar website choices feel less intimidating.

The character supports trust, but does not replace it. Real project work, clear scope and honest conversation still do the heavy lifting.

What working together should feel like

Personal does not have to mean informal or unclear

  1. 01

    A direct conversation

Start with the business situation, not a forced package.

  2. 02

    A written scope

Agree the deliverables, assumptions, boundaries and price.

  3. 03

    A considered build

Shape the message, presentation and journey around the agreed need.

  4. 04

A clear handover or support route

Know what happens after launch and who is responsible for what.

A sensible fit

We may be right for you if clarity and a working relationship matter

The best fit is usually an established small business that has outgrown a basic or disconnected online presence and wants properly scoped work rather than the cheapest possible build.
